How To Pre-Book Your Flight Seats If The Cruise Line Has Arranged The Flights

The process of pre-booking your flight seat can vary depending on who you are flying with and will be subject to their terms and conditions.

We strongly advise completing your passenger information (Passport details etc) as soon as you can, as this also helps the airline to release flight tickets, in the same way as it does for cruise tickets. Please complete your Advanced Passenger Information on the cruise line and airline website.

P&O Cruises

You can pre-purchase seats on chartered flights for cruises to and from Malta or Barbados using P&O Cruises’ Flight Seat Booker tool.

• When: The "Flight Seat Booker" opens approximately 14 weeks before your departure and closes one week before you fly. 1
   
• How: Log in to your P&O Cruise Personaliser, select "Getting There and Back," and then "Flights." If seats are available to book, you will see a "Book Seats" button. 2
   
• When: Seats become available for purchase approximately 14 weeks before your departure and can be purchased up to one week before your flight.

How do I find the Flight Seat Booker?

To find the Flight Seat Booker, you will need to log in to your My Cruise Personaliser.

Once logged in, select "Getting There and Back" and then "Flights". This shows your flight details. If your flight has reservable seats, you’ll see a "Book Seats" button from which you can choose to purchase your preferred place.

Click on ‘Manage My Booking’, select the ‘Other Tour Operator’ option, then using the drop-down menu, select ‘P&O Cruises'. Your booking number will be your P&O cruise reference.

Marella

You can pre-select your flight seats by logging into TUI Flight Extras.

• When: Seat selection opens 90 days before your return flight.
• How: You will need your Marella booking reference, the lead passenger's surname, and your departure date to log in. 4Alternatively, you can add the "Select Your Seat" option when first booking your cruise with our sales team.

Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, and Azamara

You can pre-select your seats once your flight tickets have been issued.

• When: Your electronic Guest Ticket Booklet will become available around 30 days before departure
   
• How: Use your airline reference number from your Guest Ticket Booklet to log in on the airline’s website and select your seats.

Note: If your booking is part of a "Group Allocation," you may only be able to choose your seats from four days before departure.

MSC Cruises

Unfortunately, you cannot pre-select your flight seats when you sail with MSC Cruises.

• Why: MSC block-books seats on aircraft, which means you will be allocated your seats at the airport. 
   
• Action: Please speak to the check-in staff at the airport to discuss your seating arrangements.
