The majority of cruise lines offer full board on their cruises. This means that all meals are included (breakfast, lunch, and evening meal). Full board may be served as a buffet or as a sit-down meal.
Many cruise lines will offer an extensive buffet onboard, which will also include snacks (fruit, desserts, a cheese and biscuit selection, etc.)
However, not all snacks are included and will have an additional charge, such as cakes from a bakery/coffee shop or ice cream.
Does full board include drinks?
No, not usually. However there is an exception to this and some cruise lines will offer tea, coffee, water, and fruit juice at breakfast and during lunch times.
If you are on a full board basis you can expect to have to pay an additional charge for specialty coffees and teas, soft drinks, and any alcoholic beverages.
Please ensure that you check with your cruise line before booking to find out what is included in your cruise fare.
