The minimum drinking age onboard cruise ships vary by cruise line and destination, due to the laws of the countries where the ship is sailing.

Carnival
21 years of age regardless of where the ship is sailing.
Celebrity Cruises
When Celebrity is sailing in North America, the minimum age limit is 21 years old. 18 to 20-year-olds can drink alcohol on cruises in Europe, South America, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.
Costa Cruises
When Costa is sailing in North America, the minimum age limit is 21 years old. In all other countries, they sail from, it is 18 years old.
Cunard
18 years of age all over the world with the exception of when Cunard ships are in US waters or ports. In this case, it will be 21 years of age.
Disney Cruise Line
Cruisers must be 21 to drink on-board with a valid photo ID unless the cruise starts and finishes in a European country with a lower age limit. In this case, a parent or guardian signs a Beverage Consent Form stating they permit their 18 to 20-year-old to drink under their supervision.
Fred Olsen
The minimum age is 18 years old.
MSC Cruises
18 years of age in any ports. The exception is on any cruise including a US port when the age limit will be raised to 21.
Norwegian Cruise Line
To drink alcohol onboard NCL cruisers must be at least 21. However, if sailing on itineraries around Hawaii or Alaska, young adults aged 18 to 21 are permitted to drink wine and beer upon their parent or guardian signing the Adult Alcoholic Beverage Waiver. This form is readily available to sign and hand in at the Guest Services Desk. Alternatively, if sailing around Europe or Australia only, 18-year-olds can drink beer and wine without signing any waiver form.
P&O Cruises
18 years of age everywhere except when in US waters and the United Arab Emirates ports, when it is raised to 21 years of age.
Princess Cruises
The minimum age is 21 years old. However, if sailing via Australia or New Zealand, China, Europe, and Singapore, 18-year-olds are allowed to drink. Meanwhile, 20-year-olds can drink alcohol between ports in Japan.
Royal Caribbean
When Royal Caribbean is sailing in North America, the minimum age limit is 21 years old. 18 to 20-year-olds can drink alcohol on cruises in Europe, South America, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.
Marella Cruises
The minimum drinking age is 18 years old.
Pullmantur
You must be at least 18 to consume alcoholic drinks onboard Pullmantur ships.
