Climate Resilience Tax in Greece
Heading to Greece? From January 2024, the country's previous stayover tax has been replaced with a new Climate Crisis Resilience Fee. This is to support climate management and reconstruction efforts, helping to protect and preserve the destinations you love.
The charge is applicable to all forms of tourist accommodation, including hotels, rooms to let, villas, and Airbnb.
High Season (April to October):
1-2 Star Hotels: 2,00 €
3 Star Hotels: 5,00 €
4 Star Hotels: 10,00 €
5 Star Hotels: 15,00 €
Low Season (November to March)
1-2 Star Hotels: 0,50 €
3 Star Hotels: 1,50 €
4 Star Hotels: 3,00 €
5 Star Hotels: 4,00 €
