Most Ships will have a medical centre and doctors on-board should an emergency arise. There are a small proportion of voyages that may not sail with a doctor aboard. These are typically coastal or river cruises where you are sailing closer to land and the access to land-based help is never far away. Any onboard facilities are limited. The ship’s medical facility stocks basic supplies of emergency medications but a regular pharmacy service is not available. Please remember to bring sufficient supplies of any regular medications with you, to last at least 14 days beyond your holiday.
Any medical services administered at sea are chargeable. We once again remind our customers of the importance of a comprehensive travel insurance policy.
