Can I keep valuables in my Cabin or Stateroom?

Most cruise lines have some form of safe in all cabins on-board but exact sizes and features vary. Some lines may also have a storage service for large, fragile or valuable items if you speak to member of staff.

P&O Cruises
You can store your valuables in a safe fitted into all staterooms. Sizes vary between 6" and 12", depending on the ship.

Royal Caribbean
Most ships have safes in the staterooms where you can store your valuables. You can also use the safety deposit boxes, found at Reception, available on a first come first served basis, across the fleet.

Cunard
All staterooms are fitted with a safe for your valuables. Sizes are approximately 12" x 6".

Carnival Cruise
A safe is provided in every stateroom for your personal valuables and is located in either the closet or a cabinet.

Celebrity Cruises
A safe is provided in your stateroom for your valuables. Safety deposit boxes are also available from the Guest Relations Desk.

Princess Cruises
All staterooms are fitted with a safe for your personal belongings. Sizes are approximately 14" x 14" x 8".

Azamara 
All suites have a safe located in the closet for your valuables. All staterooms have a safe behind the desk mirror or in the closet.

Fred Olsen
All rooms across the fleet have personal safes including electronic ones on-board Balmoral.

Norwegian Cruise Line
All staterooms and suites are fitted with mini safes for your valuables.

MSC Cruises
Safety deposit boxes are available in all cabins.

Marella
All cabins are fitted with a safe. On Marella Dream, there is a small charge to use this safe.

Disney Cruise Line
Safes are available in every stateroom for your valuable possessions.

Costa Cruises
All of the cabins are fitted with a mini-safe for your valuables.

Seabourn
Every suite is fitted with a mini-safe for your valuables.

Hurtigruten
The cabins are not equipped with a safety deposit box.

Oceania Cruises
All cabins are equipped with mini safes for your possessions
