As part of the cruise lines' comprehensive and enhanced health and safety protocols, contingency response plans are in place involving all the relevant local authorities in the ports where the ships are scheduled to dock during the cruise. Each cruise line has a medical centre on-board open 24/7 with highly trained medical staff who are up to date on the latest COVID-19 scientific status and trained on all relevant COVID-19 procedures.

Cruise lines have enhanced shipboard medical capabilities with the necessary staffing, medications, supplies, oxygen, equipment, and procedures to triage and treat multiple COVID-19 cases across the full clinical spectrum including intensive care. Appropriate response plans are in place and activated when/if needed.
