What is the difference between bringing a wheelchair and a scooter onboard?

At the point of making a booking, mobility requirements need to be discussed for us to make the appropriate arrangements for your individual needs. Some Cruise Lines will allow you to travel with a scooter in a standard cabin, whilst others will only allow you to travel in an adapted cabin. This varies from Cruise Line to Cruise Line but our agent will be able to advise before confirming your booking.

Each ship will have a set number of adapted or partially adapted cabins. This all depends on the width of the doorway, roll-in showers/bathroom set up, and more floor space. In the interests of your comfort, we will ask for the dimensions of your mobility aid so that you can be assured that the most appropriate arrangements are made on your behalf.
