Many cruise ships are very well designed for passengers who are wheelchair users or have other mobility requirements. A majority of ships have specially adapted staterooms, with features designed for wheelchair users in terms of easy access, bathrooms, and space. Public areas have also been designed to provide enhanced access such as special seating arrangements and lifts.
